The Party After
There's always another party
Midwestern-based, Dystopian Party Rock, built and branded by three best friends that have never given up on rock n' roll.
The initial conception of the band began in 2011 when Derek (Fooligan) Talburt and Jared (Badsquatch) Gottberg started the core of the band. After a couple of quick lineup changes, they met Tony (Bony Tates) Bates who rounded out the group. After years of turmoil including being robbed on tour, bad management, and even legal issues from a past member over the original band name, The Party After officially released their first single and music video for 'Philophobic' in 2019.
The band released a few more singles before making a trip to Mexico City, MX at the end of 2021 to record the newly released debut full-length album 'Dopamine Machine' (released July 2025).
“With Dopamine Machine, The Party After aren’t just releasing an album, they’re throwing open the doors to their strange, chaotic, defiant world. And the party’s just getting started.” - David Weddle
“This is a band that’s been robbed on tour, battled bad management, even fought legal battles over their own name, yet somehow distilled all of it into a record that still makes room for hooks, humour, and hope. For a band that’s already weathered more storms than most, ‘Dopamine Machine’ is proof that sometimes the most electric rock records come from sheer survival” - Finn Enright
“What unites them isn’t a shared genre or marketing strategy—it’s a refusal to compromise their authenticity for the sake of quick wins. These tracks aren’t engineered for virality. They’re built for connection, the kind that outlasts trends.” - Fernando Triff
